Up the Ladder to the Roof

20 year old Film and English student living in Norwich. Mildly obsessed with everything to do with film and Hollywood. I watch too much television, but I don't classify that as a fault. One day I will live in New York. I tend to believe fictional characters are real. I need to work in the film industry, it makes me feel less guilty about my ever growing (and not stopping soon) DVD collection.

I was raised by a single mother. I think the definition of a man’s man has shifted in recent times to this sort of fratty bro, different from the older version, which was aloof and distant—Gary Cooper or Cary Grant or James Bond. Now it’s a little vulgar, kind of lowbrow, adolescent. I’m not that guy. Part of being an adult is treating women like women.
